Welcome to the Anew Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to fostering recovery from alcohol, substance abuse and other addictions, as well as assistance to at risk families and individuals.
Founded in 1993, Anew Foundation was built on the belief that lasting recovery from addiction requires treatment and community based support. After the initial period of detoxification and introduction to a clean and sober lifestyle, recovering addicts must face all the responsibilities they had been avoiding in their disease. Family life, relationships, seeking and maintaining employment, education, career possibilities, learning to manage money, assuming financial responsibilities and becoming a participating member of a community/neighborhood are new experiences that must be addressed without use of addictive substances. An extensive support system is necessary to prevent these issues from becoming relapse triggers, leading to more devastating consequences for the addict, their loved ones, and their community.
Anew Foundation is a private operating foundation that supports individuals actively striving to recover and rebuild their lives from substance abuse. Anew Foundation offers grants and interest free loans for counseling, housing, medical and living expenses to at risk families and individuals and substance abusers who are motivated to change their lives.
The Anew Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization providing financial support for at risk families and individuals and substance abusers in Central Florida and Maine.
